McGuire Air Force Base (AFB) is a United States Air Force base located in Burlington County, New Jersey. It is a joint base, meaning it shares its facilities with the Army and Navy, and is located adjacent to Fort Dix and Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst. The base is named after Major Thomas B. McGuire, Jr., a Medal of Honor recipient who was killed in action during World War II.
