Crow Agency is a small town located in southeastern Montana, with a population of approximately 1,616 people. It is the capital of the Crow Indian Reservation and is home to the Crow Nation, a federally recognized tribe of Native Americans.

The town is named after the Crow Tribe, also known as the Apsáalooke, which translates to “children of the large-beaked bird.” The Crow Tribe has a rich history and culture, and the town of Crow Agency serves as an important center for preserving and celebrating their heritage.
